Take Part in the InvestigATe Pilot Program
High school students: Want to get a more in-depth look at the athletic training profession? Participate in the AT4Me InvestigATe Pilot Program! With a run date of Aug. 4, 2025, to May 31, 2026, this pilot program was created by the NATA Secondary School Athletic Trainers’ Committee to introduce high school students to athletic training and foster engagement with professionals as students begin their career discovery.
Through the InvestigATe Pilot Program, participating students will gain knowledge about athletic training and connection to athletic trainers and other sports medicine professionals. This is a foot in the profession’s door that can extend well-beyond high school.
To participate, high school students must work with a sponsor (an adult 18 years and older) and register for the InvestigATe Pilot Program by filling out the form below. After the student and sponsor have been enrolled, they will receive an email with the InvestigATe 2025-26 logo that can be used on merchandise, such as T-shirts, as well as the InvestigATe checklist, consisting of 10 things participants can do during their athletic training deep dive. The checklist is self-paced and can be completed on the student’s own schedule.
To get the most out of pilot program, we recommend students and sponsors:
- Execute each task fully.
- Provide feedback to NATA as to how you’re using the logo, the time commitment involved with completing the checklist, etc.
- NATA will reach out periodically with surveys and check-ins to see how the program is going and how we can mold the program into the best resource it can be as we move through the pilot period.
